The UWE Marking Allocation tool has been developed by UWE Bristol to overcome some of the shortcomings of the Blackboard Gradebook and to better support the allocation of coursework submissions to markers. Whilst there are limitations on what can developed with the Blackboard Gradebook, the tool will help streamline the marking allocation process and provide each marker with a list of specific students to mark, directly linking to the student‘s attempt in the Gradebook. The marks and feedback are added in the Gradebook view and the user is returned to their allocation list.
