This guide provides an overview of the Extension Assignment tool in Blackboard. The tool has been developed to provide SPS Officers with a way to create duplicates of ISIS fed Blackboard assignments, for the purpose of Reasonable Adjustment extensions.
Essentially the tool provides the SPS officer with the ability to find the student; the student‘s current modules and then select the assignment to be extended. It then creates a duplicate of the selected assignment but with an extended due date. A rule is applied to the extension assignment so that only the specific student is able to see and submit to it.
