How to view Marks and Feedback

Once your coursework has been marked, your mark and feedback will be available from the Blackboard Coursework area.

The mark will be displayed next to the submission, under the ‘Mark’ column. The ‘Feedback Summary’ column will show any text based feedback that the marker added, and the ‘Feedback Attachment’ column will provide a link to any feedback files that the marker attached.

Important - You will only be able to access your mark and feedback whilst you have an enabled UWE username. If you are a final year student, you lose access to UWE systems 42 days after you complete your award.

It is your responsibility to save any feedback you have received through the Coursework area before your UWE systems access ends.

The marks you see listed in Blackboard are unconfirmed and BEFORE any penalties have been applied.

Marking Record

When your mark is released to you, a MarkingRecord.txt file is automatically included with your feedback files. This file is intended to provide you with a means to cross-reference the mark shown in Blackboard with the mark recorded at the time of marking. We recommend that you check that the mark shown in the MarkingRecord.txt corresponds with the mark shown in Blackboard and where used, the ‘Unconfirmed Marks Published’ column in the Modules & Marks tab of myUWE.

For more information on the Coursework area please see our guidance.
