There will be some circumstances where certain assessments cannot be submitted online, for instance a piece of artwork. There may also be instances where the instructor wishes to use an alternative Blackboard tool such as a blog or wiki as the assessment. For these circumstances, the ISIS Grade Column Mapping function has been developed to copy marks from a Blackboard Grade Centre column, be it manually created by the instructor or automatically created by Blackboard, into an ISIS Grade Centre Column.
The ISIS Grade Centre Column is created in Blackboard by a feed from ISIS. The mapping process should only be carried out once marking has been concluded and can only be done once per ISIS work item. Once mapping has been successful, the marks in the ISIS Grade Centre Column are extracted ready for ISIS administrators to import into ISIS.
