Online Assessment

For some coursework, a new system will be available that allows students to submit their coursework online through Blackboard.

In addition to being able to submit away from the University, students will also be able to see marks and feedback online through Blackboard as well.

Your instructor will tell you if you must submit your coursework online.

If you are asked to submit your coursework through Blackboard, you must do so. If you do not submit any coursework when you are instructed to do so, this will be considered a non-submission. Students who are given reasonable adjustments to their assessments because of disability or health reasons, may be asked to submit in a different way.

Notification of an upcoming online submission will be displayed in the following places (usually two weeks before the submission date):

  • In the Coursework tab in myUWE
  • In the Coursework tab in Blackboard
  • You may also see an announcement in the Blackboard course

Information about your assessment, including the submission date will be provided by your instructor. Assessment information may also be found in the Module Specification or in your module / course handbook.

Please make sure you read and follow instructions, including these Learning & Research Systems pages, on how to submit online.
