Extracting marks from the Grade Centre

Once you have completed marking in the Grade Centre, you will need to extract / send the marks to ISIS. You can only extract marks to ISIS once. This option will only be available to use if:

  • the column is for an ISIS fed assignment
  • the due date is in the past
  • all latest submission attempts have a mark
  • marks have not already been extracted

Please note:

  • You must enter your marks in the attempt - do not use manual override / override mark
  • Only marks for students who submit via the assignment will be included in the extract to ISIS
    - if you enter marks for students who did not submit to the assignment, the extract will ignore them and you will need to give these marks to your School Student Programme and Support (SPS) team to enter into ISIS manually.

How to extract marks to ISIS

Follow the steps and screenshots below - alternatively a recorded demonstration is available.

  1. From the Grade Centre column header, expand the drop down menu.

Troubleshooting

If you can see the Send marks to ISIS option but it is greyed out / not selectable, hover over the option and you will see a tool-tip to explain. The most likely causes will be:

  1. The due date has not yet passed - you can only extract marks after the due date for the assignment
  2. There are latest full attempts that have not been marked - only a students last full attempt should be marked
  3. Marks have already been extracted for the assignment
  4. You have overridden marks - revert the override and enter the mark in the attempt

Please note: Only marks against a students latest full submission attempt is included in the extract. If you enter marks against: previous attempts, draft submissions or students who didn't submit, this will not be included in the marks sent to ISIS.
