Why am I seeing My Programme in Blackboard?
You are attached to a programme Blackboard course. Where a programme has a corresponding Blackboard course, that Programme will be displayed.
For users that have multiple programme attachments, they are able to select the appropriate programme page that they wish to see by default.
Do I need to do anything?
If you are a programme leader, you will need to review the default content and decide what you want your programme’s page to contain.
If you are not the programme leader, then no, you do not need to anything unless asked to by the Programme Leader.
What shows in the My Announcements section?
Announcements from your 10 most recently accessed courses.
Why don’t I see the Programme section of the My Programme page?
Only users that have a current enrolment to a programme Blackboard course will see the programme section. Any user without a programme enrolment will just see the My Modules and My Announcements sections.
How do I get a programme Blackboard course?
In order for a Programme course to be fed into Blackboard, the award in ISIS must:
- Have the ‘include in Blackboard’ option ticked, and
- Have the ‘include in feed to Blackboard’ option set to either PA (primary award) or PT (primary target), and
- If PT, each Primary target also needs to have the ‘include in Blackboard’ option ticked, and
- The PA or PT, needs to have at least one member of staff added using their current contract instance and with an in-date attachment period
The Curriculum Infrastructure and Data Team (CID) manage the ‘include in Blackboard/feed’ options in ISIS and your School Student Programme and Support (SPS) team manage the attachment of staff in ISIS.
