Issue date: 16/09/05

Richard Duvall, the inspiration behind online bank Egg, will share the secrets of his success at a breakfast seminar at the B2B West 2005 exhibition. Now in its second year, the B2B West event will have 120 exhibitors, a programme of inspirational speakers, and business advice clinics from some of the UK’s leading entrepreneurs.

Egg is the world’s largest standalone digital bank, and Richard has been described by Bill Gates as ‘one of the most dynamic people I have ever met.’ In his talk, Richard will explain how to evaluate new business ideas and launch a successful business.

The seminar is being organised by the University of the West of England as part of its services to small businesses. It will also feature a successful project, piloted by UWE, called QuickMark. QuickMark offers initial market assessment to small and medium enterprises. The pilot project was funded by the South West Regional Development Agency and the European Union, as part of the Inspire South West programme.

Richard Duvall of Egg will speak at the B2B West breakfast seminar in the Television Studio, Explore-At-Bristol, on Wednesday 21 September from 8.00am – 9.45am. For more details visit the seminar programme at
