It's not too early to think about next year's finances

Issue date: 14 March 2018

As you prepare to take a break for Easter, the next academic year may seem a long way off. However it's worth taking a few steps now so your finances are in hand for 2018/19.

Apply for student finance for next year

First things first, reapply for your Student Finance loan (this will include your tuition fee loan, your maintenance loan and any extra grants you receive). Student Finance should be in contact with you in the next couple of weeks.

Here's a quick recap on how to reapply:

  1. Log in to your Student Finance account.
  2. Print out a new declaration form.
  3. Sign it and return to Student Finance.

Once you've done this, Student Finance will send you a new Student Finance Entitlement letter. Ideally reapply by Friday 22 June otherwise your funding may not be in place for the start of the new academic year.

You've got to be in it to win it

If you reapply for Student Finance before Friday 23 March, send us proof (just email and you'll be in with a chance of winning one of five Easter eggs!

We've got your back

If your student funding is delayed for any reason, you're able to apply for a short term loan until your funding comes through.
