UWE Bristol wins silver small business charter

The University of the West of England (UWE Bristol) has been successful in winning a silver small business charter award from the Chartered Association of Business Schools.
Small Business Charter awards recognise outstanding work by universities in supporting small businesses, start-ups and their contribution to local economic growth. Bristol Business School at UWE Bristol is amongst a small group of business schools who have had their award upgraded.

Time stands still for start of landmark £50m building

The first stage of construction on UWE Bristol's landmark £50m Faculty of Business and Law will be marked by a 'time capsule' being buried on site on Tuesday 7 July.
The 'time capsule' containing significant items suggested by students, staff and alumni will be buried on 7 July at 17:30 by University Chancellor Sir Ian Carruthers.

UWE Bristol Finance student wins national award

Deepak Lalwani Idnani, a student on the MSc Finance programme at UWE Bristol, has been awarded second place and an overall prize of £1500 in the national finals of the CISI Educational Trust Awards, a UK-wide competition for outstanding student coursework.
