    The University of the West of England and Dremel (Bosch) have linked up to give Creative Product Design (CPD) and Product Design Technology (PDT) students opportunities to showcase their talents. So impressed were Dremel senior management with the professionalism of the students that they are keen to develop this new partnership further.

  • UWE awards honorary degree to Robin Gallimore

    The University of the West of England will award the Honorary Degree of Doctor of Technology to Robin Gallimore in recognition of his strong local connections as director of Hewlett-Packard Laboratories in Bristol and his continuing influential role as head of the South West Science and Industry Council (SWSIC) in the west of England.

  • Tony Papadopoullos Charitable Trust awards student bursaries

    The University of the West of England has received a £15,000 donation from the Tony Papadopoullos Charitable Trust to provide bursaries to undergraduate students studying Computing.
