UWE law students say 'Magic Circle' scheme opens up a whole new world

Students from the University of the West of England (UWE Bristol) are effusive about the way a 'magic circle' law firm has opened up their vision about possibilities they had thought were reserved for a privileged few.
The world leading 'magic circle' law firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Derniger runs an annual Stephen Lawrence Scholarship (SLS) designed to address under-representation in large commercial law firms of black men from low-income households. The scheme is aimed at first year law students.

Successive governments have claimed support for renewing the UK's ageing nuclear energy infrastructure, but progress to date has been slow. Hinkley Point C will be a massive engineering challenge, requiring significant funding from China, but it can only be the first of a new generation of nuclear stations.
Lady Barbara Judge CBE will look at the state of play when it comes to nuclear power, and the issues governments face when deciding to build new power plants at the next lecture in the Bristol Distinguished Address Series at UWE Bristol.

Business and Law Clinic launches at UWE Bristol's £16.5m Enterprise Zone 'Future Space'
