  • UWE Independent Theatre Company celebrates award success in Minsk


    After a successful run at The Redgrave Theatre in Bristol, UWE Independent Theatre Company (UWE ITC) has won two awards for its inaugural production - Tis a Pity She's a Whore at the Teatralny Koufar International Student Theatre Festival (28 September - 3 October) in Minsk, Belarus.

  • Printers make their mark on Bristol for IMPACT 6


    Around 500 of the world's top printmaking experts from 25 countries will convene in Bristol 16th to 19th September 2009 to take part in the international IMPACT 6 conference at the world renowned Centre for Fine Print Research (CFPR) at the University of the West of England, Bristol (UWE.)

  • UWE student wins Jerwood Drawing Prize


    Drawing and Applied Arts student Rox Goffin has won the Jerwood Foundation's prestigious Student Drawing Prize.

    Rox, who has just started the second year of her BA degree in Drawing and Applied Arts at UWE, submitted a piece called 'Untitled', which was selected as one of 75 pieces to be part of the exhibition from over 2200 entries.

    Drawing and Applied Arts student Rox Goffin has been selected to show her work as part of the prestigious Jerwood Drawing Prize 2009 exhibition.
