UWE Bristol has been ranked in the top 30 UK universities in the latest Times Higher Education ‘Table of Tables’, released today (7 October).

It is the first time that the university has been included in the top 30 table, which ranks institutions based on the combined results of the UK’s three main domestic university league tables: The Complete University Guide, the Guardian University Guide and the Times and Sunday Times’ Good University Guide.

The largest higher education provider in the South West with more than 30,000 students, UWE Bristol is ranked 29th in the 2021 table.

Professor Steve West, Vice-Chancellor at UWE Bristol, said: ‘‘It is a great achievement to be ranked as one of Times Higher Education’s top 30 universities. While we are proud of all of our successes in the league tables, our position in the Table of Tables is particularly pleasing as it considers all of the main domestic league tables to identify the very best universities in the UK.

‘‘I would like to thank all of our staff and our Students’ Union for their contribution towards achieving this result. Our ranking is due to their hard work and dedication to provide the best education and university experience for our students.’’
