Modules

The Modules page will show every module you have ever attempted. Current module enrolments are listed in the top part of the table and previous module enrolments (if you have any) are listed below. Current module enrolments will display in the top section until they have been to the appropriate examining board and have been published in your Results.

If you believe that your module enrolments are incorrect you should contact the Faculty Student Administration team and explain that you believe you are enrolled on the wrong module(s).

Clicking on any underlined heading or term will open the Academic Record Explanations page in a pop-up window, which will provide an explanation of the term.

Clicking on the ‘View Marks’ or ‘View Details’ buttons, will take you to Module Assessment Opportunities.

Mobile View

For students viewing the Modules & Marks page on a mobile device, there is a ‘Mobile View’ link at the bottom of the page.

Mobile View is currently only available on the Modules & Marks page.

Unconfirmed Marks

If you have any unconfirmed marks available for your current module enrolments, you will have a ‘View Marks’ button under the ‘Unconfirmed Marks Published’ column. Any unconfirmed marks that you haven’t yet viewed will be indicated with a red star. Clicking on the ‘View Marks’ button will take you to ‘Module Assessment Opportunities’ where you will see details of any unconfirmed marks that have been released.

For current module enrolments, any marks shown will be unconfirmed and have been released in accordance with Academic Regulation H1.2. For further information please see the Release of marks and feedback web page, and read the section Recieving feedback.

Notes about Unconfirmed Marks

  1. The marks shown for coursework are for work which should already have been returned to you so that you can check that the correct mark has been recorded. If you have any queries about the mark recorded, please contact the Student Administration Team without delay.
  2. The marks shown for exams are in accordance with Academic Regulation H1.2 and will not be confirmed until they have been considered by an examining board.
  3. You need to be aware that all unconfirmed marks are subject to approval by the relevant Field and Award Boards. It is possible that they may be amended up or down.
  4. A mark of “N/A” indicates that no mark has been entered by your Faculty for this piece of work. If you believe that there should be a mark here, you should contact the Student Administration Team without delay.

For any past module enrolments (shown with a status of ‘COMP’), details of the overall module mark and all individual marks will be shown as long as the marks have been confirmed and published. Sometimes, marks are unpublished to enable us to address queries; if this is the case for you it will appear that your marks have become unconfirmed when they were previously published.

To close the current enrolment and view a past enrolment, click on the blue arrow to the left of the row you wish to see.

Clicking on any underlined heading or term will open the Academic Record Explanations page in a pop-up window, which will provide an explanation of the term.

In the event of a query concerning the unconfirmed coursework marks published in myUWE (for example if you believe the marks to be in error or if marks you expect are absent), please contact the Student Administration Team.

Module Assessment Opportunities

After clicking ‘View Details’ you will be taken to the assessment opportunities page where you will see every assessment opportunity for the module viewed.
