TALK CORNER for international students

Date: 23 June 2021
Venue: Microsoft Teams
Time: 14:15-15:15

TALK CORNER for international students is part of UWE Talk Corners, an initiative led by the Multifaith Chaplaincy as a free opportunity for all international students to join an informal self-help group. It is a safe place to chat and share the different challenges and joys we share in everyday life. All international students from all backgrounds are very welcome to join!

  • This is an informal talk-based group to help each other talk about any issues you wish to raise (It is not a clinical therapy group)
  • Hosted by UWE Associate Chaplain for international students, Jacqueline Conradie-Faul
  • Open to all international students and fully confidential
  • Runs under Chatham House rules
  • Come once, come weekly, your choice

During the meetings no notes or records are to be kept except, with agreement, a personal note on what may be tried out during the next week for personal benefit eg “During the next week I shall attempt to rest better and possibly sleep better.”
