This workshop is a part of the Communication Skills for International Students programme (CSIS). It is designed for international students and students who use English as an additional language.

Workshop objectives

The objectives of the workshop are to feel more confident about:

  • recognising the purposes of a group discussion and the skills involved
  • applying the skills required for active participation in a group discussion
  • using some useful phrases for discussions.
