Working with literatures is an integral part of research. It requires you to be organised in your strategies for seeking out the work of others and also to keep comprehensive records. This workshop, run by Library Services, will provide you with tools and techniques to navigate this element of your project. It will also include an introduction to reference management tools widely used at UWE Bristol.

Learning outcomes:

  • Understand how to construct an effective search strategy
  • Be able to identify appropriate Boolean operators to expand and limit searches
  • Understand how to conduct a literature review.

This session is for UWE Bristol Postgraduate Researchers and research staff.

Participants will be sent joining instructions nearer the time.

This workshop is part of Invest In Yourself, UWE Bristol's specially designed programme of professional and personal development activities for researchers at all stages of their research career.
