Have you ever seen a person and wondered which personal experiences in their life has shaped them to be the person that they are today?

The Human Library is being organised to bring awareness to the personal experiences that UWE staff and students have faced in their lives.

For LGBT+ History Month, we thought this would be a prime opportunity for LGBT+ students and staff to discuss any personal accomplishments and struggles to any students or staff who are wanting to attend this event!

As a reader: You will sit with your chosen human book for 10-15 minutes. During this time, each reader will be able to ask the human book a variety of open questions to find out more about their background, their experience with their topic, and how they overcome the challenges they face.

As a book: During your allocated slot, you will meet with 3 readers per hour. During your time with each reader, you will be able to speak openly about your relationship with the theme of the event.
