Description

This session provides examples and explanations on some of the most common grammatical errors found in student writing. Websites which confirm these common errors and provide further examples are also provided.

This workshop is a part of the Communication Skills for International Students (CSIS) programme. It is aimed at speakers of English as a second language.

Objectives

  • To become familiar with the most common linguistic errors encountered in student writing at UWE Bristol
  • To be able to identify errors and correct sentences containing the most common errors.
