Description

Why don't people understand what you are saying sometimes?  You know your grammar is good… but it could be your stress patterns! Come along to this interactive, fun class to improve your communication skills! 

This workshop is a part of the Communication Skills for International Students (CSIS) programme. It is aimed at speakers of English as a second language.

  • to recognise that English is a stress-timed language
  • to learn some patterns of word/syllable stress
  • to practise using sentence stress.
