Description

This workshop will help you to create effective search strategies, develop your database searching skills and manage your references in RefWorks. There will be an opportunity for hands-on practice. You may like to bring your own laptop, but some PCs and tablets will be available for your use.

While the focus of this session will be on health and social care databases, this workshop is suitable for all subjects and all levels of study.

  • Identify relevant subject databases and develop an effective search strategy
  • Search for journal articles and manage your references
  • Understand which transferable skills this session will teach you for use in your future employment.
