Working with literatures is an integral part of research. It requires you to be organised in your strategies for seeking out the work of others, but also to keep comprehensive records. This workshop run by Library Services will provide you with some tools and techniques to navigate this element of your projects. It will also include an introduction to reference management tools widely used at UWE Bristol.

Learning outcomes:

  • Understand how to construct an effective search strategy
  • Be able to identify appropriate Boolean operators to expand and limit searches
  • Understand how to conduct a literature review.

Aimed at UWE Postgraduate Researchers in the early years, may also be useful as a refresher for PGRs in the later stages.
