FinTech US vs UK

Deanna Oppenheimer, Founder, CameoWorks & Chair, Hargreaves Lansdown will deliver the University's prestigious Annual Bolland Lecture as part of the Bristol Distinguished Address Series with her talk titled 'FinTech US vs UK'.

The UK is becoming a FinTech hub on par with Silicon Valley. In Bristol, firms like Hargreaves Lansdown and startups like LOQBOX are building a FinTech hub with Bath and Exeter to rival regional hubs in Northern England and Edinburgh.

Deanna Oppenheimer has advised FinTech firms since 2012. In her only UK speech this year, Deanna will analyse differing approaches in the US and UK and challenge 'FinTechUK' to be an engine of change. Deanna will examine her US and European experiences in start-ups, highlight the best in major corporations, and reveal the keys to win in FinTech and beyond.
