Description

This workshop looks at some of the verb tenses in English that may cause the most problems for international students. Explanations with exercises will be provided for the present and past simple, present and past perfect and writing about the future.

This workshop is a part of the Communication Skills for International Students (CSIS) programme. It is aimed at speakers of English as a second language.

Objectives

  • To become more familiar with, and practise using, the Present and Past Simple and continuous tenses
  • To become more familiar with, and practise using, the Present and Past Perfect tenses
  • To become more familiar with, and practise using, the future tenses.
