Lunchtime Walks (Weekly)

This event has now passed.

Date: 14 February 2018
Venue: Meet at the front of S Block, Frenchay Campus
Time: 12:30 - 13:15

Join multi-award winning conservationist and Stoke Park historian Steve England on a guided tour of the Historic Stoke Park estate, a place Steve has spent his life studying.

Steve will guide you around the 250 acre estate and show you the historical features hidden in the woodlands and explain why Stoke Park is rich in wildlife and, what makes Stoke Park a national asset.

On the walk you will look at the remnants of when Stoke Park was once monastic farmland and the once home of the Berkeley and Beaufort families, as well as some of the amazing wildlife that live in the park.

The walk will include some slight slopes so sturdy footwear is essential and dress according to the weather on the day.
