How to attend

If you are interested in attending this event, please register via InfoHub.

We've invited Off the Record (a local charity who provide mental health support for young people) to UWE Bristol to run a series of workshops to help you improve your emotional resilience.

This session is about building bridges and getting connected to those around you. We give you a chance to look at who is in your circle of sharing and how close they are to you. By understanding this you can then strengthen your support network for when times get tough.

This interactive workshop is a great follow-up to our Peer Assisted Learning (PAL) emotional resilience workshops, but you are welcome to join the session without attending a PAL workshop.

Why attend?

Throughout your time at university you'll face many challenges – like meeting new people, delivering presentations, taking exams and juggling your social life.

Looking after your mental wealth and building your emotional resilience is the best way to tackle these challenges so that they don't become overwhelming.

You'll be able to use the skills you learn throughout your time at university and after you graduate – so come along!
