This session will cover the main areas involved in the writing of a Literature Review.

These are:

  1. Searching and evaluating the existing literature on your subject.
  2. Synthesising the material in that literature into a summary
  3. Critically analysing the information by identifying gaps in current knowledge.
  4. Presenting the review in an organised way.

The Literature Review being presented in the workshop is predominantly the Narrative Type rather than the Systematic Type.
