As part of the Bristol Leadership Centre Research Seminar Series 2015-16, Dr Simon Western of Analytic-Network Coaching Ltd presents, "A Dialogue on Autonomist Leadership and Eco-Leadership".
In this session Dr Simon Western, an acclaimed author, practitioner, researcher and educator on the psycho-dynamics of organisations, will discuss his experience of how leadership is changing in relation to todays increasingly networked society.
Presenting his theories of how 'Eco-Leadership' (2008, 2013) is emerging in organisations and 'Autonomist Leadership' (2014) is being pioneered by activists in networked social movements such as Occupy and the Arab Spring revolutions, Simon will then facilitate a dialogue and invite attendees to contribute with their thoughts, research and experience of 'What is going on' (WIGO) and then reflect on 'what is really going on' (WIRGO).
Simon brings an unusual depth and breadth of experience to the world of leadership, coaching and organisational change. Currently his portfolio of work includes coaching and consulting to CEO's and international leaders. He offers 'thought leadership' to support strategic change in today's 'network society', specialising in distributed leadership to ensure ethical and dynamic leadership occurs at the edge as well as the centre of organisations. As President-Elect of the International Society for the Study of Organisations (ISPSO) his work explore both conscious and unconscious organisational dynamics.
