This event aims to expose delegates to local corporate role models through a panel discussion where they will be offering practical tips and advice for career development into senior leadership roles with some short workshops and a discussion about creating a local corporate women's network.

  • Sandra Forbes, Partner and Head of Corporate and Financial Institutions Department, Burges Salmon - Sandra became a Banking Partner in 1996 and 10 years later was appointed the first-ever female department Head of the Corporate and Financial Institutions division.

10:00 - Workshops:

  • 'Using Twitter and LinkedIn in the professional context – a chance to exchange experiences, hits and tips' - Dagmar Steffens, Associate Head of the Bristol Insitute of Legal Practice, UWE
