To enable Java:

Internet Explorer 6, 7, 8 and 9
- Select ‘Tools’ on the browser menu
- Select ‘Internet Options’
- Click the ‘Security’ tab
- Select ‘Custom level’
- Under ‘Scripting’, ensure that the Java Applet radio button is set to ‘Enable’. Select ‘OK’
- You may need to re-start your browser
Firefox (3.0+)
- Select ‘Tools’ on the browser menu
- Select ‘Options’
- Select the ‘Content’ tab
- Set the ‘Enable Java’ field to be checked
- Select ‘OK’
Mac
Safari
- Select ‘Safari’ on the browser menu
- Select ‘Preferences’
- Click the ‘Security’ tab
- Check box ‘Enable Java’
