Blackboard Enhancement Suggestions

If you have any suggestions for how to improve Blackboard, there is a ‘Product Enhancement’ form on the Blackboard website for this purpose. It is open to staff and students and all suggestions are reviewed by Blackboard Product Managers.

What is Blackboard Inc. responsible for?

Some elements of UWE’s installation of Blackboard are within the University’s control. The table below gives you an idea about which parts Blackboard Inc. have responsibility for and those which are decided at UWE. If you are unsure, please check with the Blackboard Support team first.

  • Building new tools
  • Course per module run
  • Student and staff attachment to courses
  • Decisions to upgrade
  • Content and structure of courses
  • Reporting of bugs to Blackboard
