BBS appoints new Director of Marketing Communications

Bristol Business School, part of the University of the West of England, has appointed Keith Burton as its Director of Marketing Communications. A new position at the School, Burton has been tasked with developing, and effectively implementing, the marketing and communication strategies that will enable Bristol Business School to enhance its position as one of the leading schools of business, management and accounting in the UK.

Burton joined Bristol Business School as a Senior Marketing Lecturer in May 2004, after more than twenty years working at a senior level in the marketing and communications industry. His experience is vast. He has worked for a variety of companies and held a number of senior roles including Regional Director for Europe at Harveys of Bristol, Director of an integrated communications agency, and Vice President, Marketing for Allied Domecq’s, brandies and fortified wine brands. He will continue to lecture at the School alongside his new role.

Burton’s extensive experience and commercial expertise will enable him to help the School communicate even more effectively with its stakeholders. “As one of the leading business schools in the country, Bristol Business School justly takes pride in its total commitment to excellence in both undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, as well as its extensive links with local and international business.
