UWE presents Kiss Me, Kate at the L-Shed

Students from the University of the West of England’s Centre for Performing Arts (CPA) will present the ever popular Cole Porter musical, Kiss me, Kate, at the L Shed, Bristol Industrial Museum from 9-12 March at 19.30 with a matinee on Saturday 12 March at 14.30.

The L Shed at Bristol Industrial Museum will be transformed into a theatre with comfortable raked seating so everyone gets a good view of the action.

Kiss me, Kate is full of foot tapping tunes such as Wunderbar, Too darn hot and Brush up your Shakespeare, and the heart warming melodies So in love and Were thine that special face.

The show is directed by Alex Turasiewicz and choreography is by Jacquie Bell. Ian Henderson conducts the 23 piece orchestra, costume design is courtesy of John Cousins, the set is designed by Chris Britton and stalwart CPA Producer Ruth Snary has pulled everything together for what promises to be an energetic performance.
