Student printing unavailable 29 – 30 September

We're upgrading Pharos (the student printing system) to provide you with a more resilient and stable system.

You won't be able to print from 21:15 on Friday 29 September until 16:00 on Saturday 30 September whilst the upgrade takes place.

What happens if I try and print using Pharos during the downtime?

If you try and print through Pharos whilst it's unavailable, your attempt will fail and you won't be charged.

What if I need to print during the downtime?

If you need to print, save your files to a USB stick and bring it with you to one of the following libraries. A member of IT staff will help you print your documents.

  • Frenchay Library (IT Support Centre on level 3) - between 10:00 - 16:00
  • Glenside Library (reception) - between 10:00 - 16:00
  • Bower Ashton Library (reception) - between 10:00 - 16:00

When will Pharos be available again?

Pharos will be available again from 16:00 on Saturday 30 September.
