Adult nursing students celebrate graduating at UWE Gloucester

Students from the Gloucester campus at the University of the West of England (UWE Bristol) got together for a celebratory photograph to mark the end of their studies.

60 nursing students from the September intake who've been studying at the UWE Gloucester campus celebrated the completion of their BSc (Hons) adult nursing programme.

During their time at UWE Gloucester this group have undertaken their adult nursing programme in partnership with local trusts such as the Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and Gloucester Care Services NHS Trust.

56 of the students from this group were also sharing their excitement about their first nursing posts, as they will be joining the local workforce as staff nurses in either the Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust or the Gloucester Care Services NHS Trust.

Rachel Sales, Associate Head of Nursing and Midwifery (Acting), and UWE Learning and Teaching Fellow, said, “It is always great to be able to share and celebrate with our students when they finish the course and to see and hear their excitement and pride.”
