Disruption begins!!!

Issue date: 25 October 2011

A team of researchers from UWE has just started work on a 3-year project looking at low-carbon travel behaviour. The £3 million project involves 7 research groups (at UWE, Leeds, Aberdeen, Lancaster, Brighton, OU, and Glasgow).

The project is taking an inter-disciplinary approach to look at the issue of travel behaviour. It is investigating whether travel habits are as fixed and resistant to change as is commonly held. The UWE element of the project is led by Dr Tim Chatterton of the Air Quality Management Research Centre.
