  • Introduction to Doctoral Supervision: Pedagogy and Practice

    This one day course is designed for new doctoral supervisors. The course covers the key aspects of the doctoral journey from admission to completion. It provides participants with an opportunity to discuss the practice of supervision with a range of other academics. Those who have not yet supervised a PGR through to completion in the UK must complete this course before PGRs they will be supervising submit their RD1 forms.

    Based on guidance from the Digital Curation Centre, this introductory session will look at some of the practical activities that relate to data management, preservation, and potential sharing and re-use.

    This event is aimed at postgraduate researchers and early career researchers, and useful basic background knowledge for any researcher.

  • Developing Leadership Capacity Conference (DLCC) 2018

    The theme for DLCC 2018 is Innovation and Creativity in Leadership Learning, Development and Education.

    This conference is aimed at leadership and management academics, practitioners, policy makers and students. We welcome submissions from anyone interested in the research and/or practice of leadership learning and development.

  • Towards autonomous robotic systems (TAROS) conference

    TAROS is the longest running UK-hosted international conference on Robotics and Autonomous Systems (RAS), which is aimed at the presentation and discussion of the latest results and methods in autonomous robotics research and applications.
