    Bristol Leadership and Change Centre Research Symposium: In Critical Condition? Challenges and possibilities for critical leadership and management scholarship in current times.

    This symposium brings together early, mid and late career leadership and management scholars to reflect on the nature, purpose and challenges of being 'critical' in the contemporary Business School environment. The event will include a keynote address by Professor Martin Parker, University of Bristol, and a number of research-informed presentations, followed by a provocation and invitation to debate by Professor Sandra Jones, RMIT, Australia.

    Current world population is just over seven billion and expected to reach nine billion before 2050. Increasing affluence in the developing and transition countries where population is growing most is now resulting in a wave of “new consumers”. UWE Bristol's Centre for Economics and Finance (BCEF) is hosting a one-day inter-disciplinary conference, organised by Dr Peter Bradley, leader of BCEF's Sustainability Research Cluster and an expert in sustainability research.
