The South West Employment Relations Forum will be jointly hosted by The Centre for Employment Studies Research (CESR) and ACAS at the University of the West of England on 23 May 2013. Speakers include Nicola Yates from the Unite Group plc, Christopher Forde, University of Leeds and John Philpott, Director of the Jobs Economist.
- Creative Leadership Project workshop - Leadership and Innovation

This is a series of three interactive workshops linking research and practice to create new ways of leading in public service organisations. The workshops will draw on three distinct areas of expertise in relation to creative leadership: Language Innovation Space Each workshop will include a short presentation that will highlight key findings from an existing research project on either language, innovation or space. This will be followed by facilitated round table discussions and the opportunity to network with and learn from the experience of others.
- Roundtable on Green skills for a low carbon economy

This Roundtable is hosted by the Bristol Law School of the University of the West of England. If you are interested in knowing more about green skills, why not join us. The aims of the event are to highlight good practice models for green skills that integrate the development of environmental literacy amongst workers, employers and business and explore various opportunities available in the South West region that allow businesses, trainers and local partnerships to promote the development of green skills.
- Victims and perpetrators of sexual violence: law, policy and research update seminar

The purpose of this seminar is to examine recent legal, policy and research developments in the area of sexual violence. The seminar will focus on a broad range of issues of relevance to those working with victims and perpetrators of sexual violence as well as those researching, teaching and studying in this area. This seminar will help those who attend to better understand how criminal justice responses to sexual violence are developing across a range of areas.
