    These are sessions to help students with the stresses of general life at university. This includes such topics as: mindfulness meditations, key skills for being resilient, the biology of panic attacks and so on.

  • Emotional resilience 'Off the Record': making friends with stress

    Date: 23 February 2018
    Venue: Meeting Room 1, The Students' Union, Frenchay Campus

    This workshop is run by Off the Record, a local charity who provide mental health support for young people in Bristol. This fun, interactive session uses games and group discussion to look at ways to better cope with stress.

    This free interactive session helps students to better deal with stress and learn ways of using it positively. We do activities on topics like, what stresses people out, how stress manifests in us, how we each deal with stressful times, breathing/meditation techniques, gratitude etc.
