A free seminar on child health with guest presenters followed by facilitated discussion.

Seminar topics

  • If we can, should we: A discussion about the ethics of treatment in the recent legal case of Alfie Evans by Dr Giles Birchley, Senior Research Associate, Centre for Ethics in Medicine, University of Bristol.
  • Maintaining professional boundaries in the face of difficult situations in practice by Mr Jamie Cargill, Nurse Consultant, South West TYA Cancer Service, University Hospitals Bristol.

All UWE Bristol staff, students as well as clinical staff are welcomed to attend this seminar event.

This is an informal evening, so attendees will be able to purchase a drink after work/classes.
