Leadership and management degree apprenticeships - employer breakfast briefing

Date: 23 May 2018
Venue: Room 6X101, Frenchay Campus
Time: 08:00 - 10:00

The UK government is committed to expanding the number, range, and quality of apprenticeships that offer training at degree level. As part of this commitment, the government is developing a new range of Apprenticeship Standards, which will be paid for through the Apprenticeship Levy.

As of April 2017, all UK employers with a payroll of more than £3 million per year will pay a levy of 0.5 percent of their pay bill to support apprenticeships. Employers will be able to 'spend' their levy to pay for training their apprentices via a digital account.

Our degree apprenticeship provision is also open to SMEs who are not levy payers. Degree apprenticeships combine on-the-job training with study for a higher level qualification, giving employers the highly skilled and knowledgeable workforce that their businesses need.
