Join us for a discussion at the Africa Week 2018 Educational Forum – an integral part of the Africa Week programme.

At this event we engage delegates on educational topics with a focus on BAME, culture, inclusivity and celebrating diversity. Last year, focused on the theme of cultural identity and a challenging panel discussion 'Does your Hair Matter?'.

2018 forum topic

This year, in the face of recent global events and political rhetoric, we have chosen to focus our attention on supporting and enabling 'Re-integrating back home' by challenging myths and assumptions realting to doing business, or finding success back home – in the African context.

Programme of events

  • Showcasing projects and initiatives including ongoing research in and about Africa
  • Panel discussions with expert speakers on the topic 'Moving Back to Africa – Finding Success as a Returnee'
  • Workshops on enterprise and setting up businesses, careers etc.
  • Networking with professional organisations and exhibiting companies.

Plus, you can try African inspired pastries and light bites - dont miss out!
