Identify key reasons why citation and referencing are essential academic skills. Learn how the development of good study habits, such as note making, paraphrasing and referencing, can ensure that you avoid plagiarism.

  • Identify what the term 'plagiarism' means.
  • Avoid plagiarism, by appropriate use of summarising, paraphrasing and referencing.
  • Understand what transferable skills this session will teach you for use in your future employment.
