Based on guidance from the Digital Curation Centre, this introductory session will look at some of the practical activities that relate to data management, preservation, and potential sharing and re-use.

It will give an overview of a range of issues from data management planning, describing data, and deciding what data to keep, to finding a suitable long term home for your data.

This event is aimed at postgraduate researchers and early career researchers, and useful basic background knowledge for any researcher.
