Rob Law, Chief Executive of Trunki, will talk about 'Building a global brand" in his lecture as part of the Bristol Distinguished Address Series.

Rob will reflect on his inspirational journey building Trunki into a global brand. Sharing lessons learnt from brand building, inspiring leadership, fighting fakes to reshoring manufacturing. His story is full of take away tips for everyone in business.

Biography

Rob Law MBE is the founder and CEO of Trunki, the brand behind the much loved children's ride-on suitcase. The company is forging a new retail category of Children Travel Products and offers a whole range of innovative solutions that help families on the go.

His company has been trading for 11 years, now employing 80 people and was named SME of the Year at the National Business Awards in 2012.

Law trained in Product Design and his early career saw him working in Taiwan, New York and London before launching the Trunki brand in 2006.

Law is a passionate business speaker with a fresh approach to leadership, instilling innovative thinking across his organisation, as well a committed champion of British manufacturing and design rights.
