This event has now passed.

Date: 20 July 2017
Venue: Room 5X108, Bristol Business School, Frenchay Campus
Time: 09:30 - 16:00

Over the coming years we aspire to transform the UWE Bristol, Frenchay Campus Library to create a space that is the central hub of our technology enhanced, digitally agile, inter-disciplinary, outstanding learning environment that prepares students for practice and their successful futures.

About the workshops

We are running a series of workshops with Studio Lime Architects to help shape the redevelopment of the UWE Bristol, Frenchay Campus Library and adjacent areas as part of the campus masterplan. As well as exploring how our library building and adjacent spaces are used today and identifying areas for improvement we will also look ahead to possibilities for the future.

Purpose of the workshops

The workshops are part of the process that will guide the development of an architect's brief and an initial phase of future design work for the building. This will follow on from our investment last summer, and our refurbishments this summer.

We need your help to ensure that the Library can continue to respond to innovations in information access, learning, teaching, research and enterprise in support of UWE Bristol's academic priorities and activities.
