This two-day course is designed for new doctoral supervisors. The course covers the main milestones of the doctoral journey from admission to completion. It will also provide participants with an opportunity to discuss the role of the supervisory team.

Topics include:

  • How do supervisors get chosen?
  • What is a doctorate?
  • The external policy pressures on the provision of postgraduate research study.
