May's Feel Good Focus is all about how to maintain your wellbeing during your exams. Change yourself for the better today, in order to create a happier and healthier future.

Ways to Wellbeing:

  • Stay in touch with friends: Remember to take breaks from studying to spend time with friends, you can work hard and still find time to relax.
  • Learning and studying: If you are engaged with your studying you are more likely to remember it - discuss your exam or assignment topic with a friend, and take regular breaks from revision to prevent fatigue.
  • Be active: A good way to take a break from studying is to get some exercise. Use the gym facilities, play a sport, or simply go for a walk with a friend.
  • Giving to others: It feels great to give to others. Think of ways that you can be altruistic and make a difference. There are lots of volunteering opportunities at UWE Bristol so get involved. There are plenty of ways to help others too, such as providing social support to a friend or flatmate. If possible, you can donate to charities, but remember to give intelligently, and use charity evaluators such as GiveWell to make your money go further.
