You will be given £1,000, desk space, a mentor and support to try and set up your own business or project over eight weeks. The scheme is flexible, so you can use the funding for your business, or to help cover your living costs. We will help you set goals, and you will meet with your mentor, who will help support you to achieve them.
At the end of the programme you will have the opportunity to pitch again and nominate yourself for the Celebrating UWE Talent Entrepreneur of the Year award.

To apply for an innovate internship, you will need to complete the relevant Internship application form and upload the form through 'My Questions' on InfoHub by 09:00 on Monday 24 April 2017.Please note, each faculty has a limited number of spaces available.
Applications are then shortlisted by a panel made up of the UWE Enterprise Skills Team, Research, Business and Innovation Team and Faculty champions.
Shortlisted applicants will then receive an invite to the Innovate 2017 Enterprise Week from 12:00 midday on Tuesday 30 May- Thursday 1 June. This is your opportunity to flesh out your idea, develop your skills and explore different aspects of your project or business. Then on Friday 2 June, you will pitch your final idea in front of a panel for a place on an innovate internships over the summer!
